The International Science Council Seal of Approval
Founded in 1981, The International Aloe Science Council was formed to protect the Aloe Vera industry against unfair competition and unnecessary regulations. The Council was set up as an independent body, financed from the membership fees of the Aloe producers who joined the Council.
In 1982, 25 member companies were part of the Council. A Code of Ethics was agreed, and an Inspection and Testing Programme was devised. To maintain objectivity in testing, an independent laboratory was chosen to inspect and test Aloe Vera products for purity and strength.
Companies whose products meet the high standards are certified and allowed to display the International Aloe Science Seal of Approval. FLP received its seal in 1986 and has been selling its products in Europe since 1988.
Since FLP are an international company serving a diverse population, other awards followed. They have also received The Kosher (K) rating given to products that meet the very rigid standards of purity and quality for the Jewish Community.
FLP also satisfy the standards of product quality that meet the requirements of The Islamic Society of California and PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
FLP are proud to assert that neither its products nor their ingredients are tested on animals.
